Procedures and Functions:

    IOS_DIR_$ISA (stream-id, status)
        Determines whether an open stream is associated with an
        object that is a directory.

    stream-id = IOS_DIR_$OPEN (dir-id, leaf-name, leaf-namelen, open-options,
                               status)
        Opens a stream connection to an object in a currently
        open directory.
