PRINTER -- Printer Information     85/03/20

  Five types of printers are supported on an Apollo node:

        1) NEC Spinwriter 7715, connected via an SIO line
        2) Printronix 300/600 LPM printer, connected to the PBU
        3) GE 3000 dot-matrix printer, connected via an SIO line
        4) Versatec V-80 printer-plotter, connected to the PBU via an
           IKON 10071-5.
        5) Imagen 8/300 or Imagen LBP-10 laser printers, connected
           via SIO lines or the Multibus.

  Files  are  printed  on  these  devices by the print server.  The print server
  consists of two  components,  the  PRF  (PRINT_FILE)  command  and  the  PRSVR
  (PRINT_SERVER)  program, which runs in a separate process on the node to which
  a printer is attached.
